Important Update Regarding Remedy Gainesville

We’ve always believed that every pet, every family, and every community matters. That belief has guided us for years as our Gainesville clinic worked to strengthen the human‑animal bond in Alachua County. 

Since April 2024, we’ve been working to create a sustainable veterinary clinic model in Gainesville as Remedy: Your Community Vet. We invested in an outstanding staff, built our marketing, and spent countless hours refining operations. However, despite our best efforts, the clinic continues to operate at a loss. It breaks our hearts, but it is unfortunately not sustainable for us to remain in Gainesville. 

With heavy hearts and hopeful eyes toward coming back in the future, we will close our Gainesville location effective 12/13/2025. This decision allows us to redirect resources, strengthen our systems, and focus on ways to make Remedy a clinic that can serve the entire Southeast.
